Rare opportunity to own a Gibson Les Paul owned and played by award-winning blues guitarist Robbie Laws. In addition, it is hand signed by Les Paul.
The R6 is Gibson's Custom Shop replica of a 1956 Les Paul. The attention to detail is meticulous, capturing all specs found on a vintage "Goldtop." This gorgeous "good wood era" Gibson would be a perfect addition to your Les Paul collection.
Body: Mahogany with maple cap, and binding on sides. Original gold finish on top, brown on sides and back.
Neck: Mahogany with binding. Full 1956-style profile. Nut 1.69" wide x .97" deep, 12th fret 2.00" wide x 1.00" deep. Dark rosewood fretboard with deep chocolate veins and trapezoid inlays. Original frets. Truss rod moves freely.
Pickups/Hardware: Original P-90 single-coil pickups read 8.09K (neck) and 8.00K (bridge). Original gold top hat knobs, one of which features a hidden push/pull feature that allows the pickups to be switched to out of phase for a "quack" tone. This modification was also used by guitar great Jimmy Page. (Please note: this feature can be reversed back to stock if buyer wishes.) Keystone tuners hold strong. Tune-O-Matic bridge saddles are in great condition and move freely for easy intonation.
Cosmetic Condition: Guitar has been fully cleaned and polished while in shop. It is in beautiful original condition. No cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Playability: Original frets show some play wear, but plenty of life left. It is currently set up and intonated with standard 10-46 strings.

Case: Original Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case in good condition. Handle intact. All hinges and latches intact.
