1963 Fender Jazz Bass Modified

A fantastic playing and sounding 1963 Fender Jazz Bass with unique modifications.  This 1963 bass left the Fullerton factory in custom color Lake Placid Blue finish. It was stripped to natural and hand carved many years ago. The natural finish shows checking and honest wear. 

All electronics and hardware are original. The pickups are strong, the pots date 40th week 1963. The neck is straight and is stamped July 1963. 

Sonically, the tone is everything you want in a pre-CBS era Jazz Bass. The neck is straight, the tone is full, the weight is comfortable at 8 lb 6 oz. L Plate number is 22969

Includes original blonde hard case covered in stickers, paint, and Portland history.
