1960 Fender Telecaster refin with'slab board' neck. A great vintage example of Leo Fender's solid body electric guitar, made in Fullerton, California. It is iconic in both sound and design.
Body:Professionally aged white-blonde refin by RS Guitarworks in Winchester KY. Lightweight ash body with grain that shows through thin finish.
Neck: 'Slab board' Brazilian rosewood fretboard on maple neck, clay dot inlays. New frets by RS Guitarworks. Heel date is 9-60. Truss rod moves freely. Fender logo with "Telecaster"decal at headstock.
Pickups/Hardware: Original bridge is strong at 6.20K. Original neck pickup has been rewound, and measures 7.05K. Original Pat Applied Single line Kluson tuners hold strong. Bridge saddles are in great condition and move freely for easy intonation. Pot dates 20th week 1956. Knobs, switch tip, and selector are appropriate replacements. Original selector with 'dark circuit' cap is in case pocket. Serial 16734 on neck plate.
Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is clean with light relicing. Blonde finish highlights the ash grain and dark rosewood fretboard. No breaks or cracks.
Playability: Frets plenty of life left. This guitar has THE Telecaster sound that we all look for. It is currently set up and intonated with standard 10-46 strings.

Case:Original 1956 issue Fender hard case in great condition. Handle, hinges, and latches intact. Stenciled name, Wesley R Hill, on top.
